My name is Bernard Curtin and I am a 56 y.o. lay-about that reads way too much. I grew up in Boston so by way of genetics and demographics I was to become Catholic (alter boy). After an education of comparative religion and philosophy my bull shit detector was in full alarm mode. I remember early on, in physics or cosmology, learning about the "big bang" happening 13.8b years ago, yet Christian dogma dates creation at about 7,000 years ago. That was the start of my journey.
Although I would describe myself more a secular Humanist universally, I am also atheist with maybe a bit of rationalist in me.
