This is the usual problem for anyone who is not interested in building up a relationship with that entity that we want to understand.
Would you get closer and closer with someone that is not interested in you?
This is how the system works.
You can go to the uni and get your degree in whatever you want.
That is not that difficult as all physical phenomena are easily grasped.
When instead you try to understand something NOT physical then you certainly need a different approach and that approach is spiritual.
As far as you deny the spirit within your chances to understand God will be zero.
You see Tony? Look at what an addled mind can produce! Enrico is a pretty good specimen to study because he's so off his rocker he could be used as a benchmark of "most insane".
Assuming you could make him sit still for more than a few minutes (get him to do some yoga or something, he's down with that shit), he could produce some interesting data.
