I condone abortion. I would condone the death penalty if there was any way to know we were applying it without error. As we clearly have and continue to occasionally execute innocent people, I have grave reservations about the death penalty.
Quite a few atheists here disagree with me, on both counts.

Is that sad? Yes. But these first-world issues you're quibbling over are pretty fucking pale in comparison to the misery, pain, and death that happen in the poverty-stricken, war-torn shitholes of the world. If you think all life is so sacred, I'm sure you're on top of that.
Hey, I know how it feels to be assumed, and I should've picked better language then the general. Apologies.
But, yeah, life is sacred, human life even more sacred, because we are products of the most miraculous naturally occurring process ever, life. So, life, even whilst a child in womb, is to be protected and not destroyed.
