Many secular Israelis are waking up to the fact that maybe the entire ideology built into the land of Israel is as bunk as biblical history and this complex exilic religion that is no longer in exile and so no longer has a goal.
The problem is the other two baby religions Christianity and Islam -- are told when the Jewish human beings go back to the Holy Land, that's a sign of the apocalypse. Well I assert that's correct -- in a secular context. Think about it. Whatever great sci-fi writer wrote the apocalyptic books probably understood -- if Jewish humans come back to the holy land the gig is up. It is the the end times. But its not the end times for all of humanity its the end times of these stories because it makes no sense if Jewish human beings can supersede the other two in the holy land since they are later revelation. It must mean something big is about to happen. But when the Messiah doesn't show and the Muslims are unable to defeat this Religo-Secular state through military means like their stories say, well khalas as the Arabs say -- maybe it was all just a big joke and we should move to Canada.
Israel is the only country founded on a religious prophecy, they are the only nation today to maintain the outdated and horrible apartheid style rule....yet we are told they are a modern nation in the Middle East. Apartheid was in place in South Africa, Vietnam, Algeria and other former colonial states for much longer than Israel has existed.....hence the idea that it can't end in the Middle East is pure bullshit.
