Oh, and when you bashed the base 6 system... 6 and 8 don't exist in this system... Only 0,1,2,3,4,5. 6(decimal) = 10 (base 6)

5+3=8 and NOT 3

9+4=13=4
9+2=11=2
9+3=12=3
