I use 7 Enterprise at work, 7 Professional on my laptop, and 8 on my media center.
I'm convinced that that the Windows 8 user interface was designed by lemurs on a cocktail of LSD, crystal meth, and cough syrup.
Once you get used to it, you can get around fine, but it seems to me that they went out of their way to hide, well, everything - there's no damn visual cues how to pull up the start screen, the charms bar, or anything else. Plus the start screen is just a fucking brain-damaged design for anyone unfortunate enough to be using a touchpad on a high-resolution screen.
On my media center, I don't care, because I run a single application and use an android remote control app to control it. If I was forced to use 8 on my laptop, I'd seriously consider getting a Macbook.
