Hmmm . . . I don't think it really works that way. Praying for something that falls within the will of God is necessary. Praying for a football game isn't. Praying for knowledge is cool, but only if you are willing to actually look for it, and are open to it. Praying in the name of Jehovah, through Jesus Christ is the only way to do it, otherwise you might as well pray to those phony gods. Removing of idols, and spiritism etc. is important.

The apostle Paul advised that Christians avoid spiritism. The Greek word he used for spiritism is pharmakia, from which we get our English word pharmacy. Basically it means drug use. Using drugs weakens you spiritually to being influenced by wicked spirits - demons.
Thus primitive people to this day will use drugs to gain access the spirit world.
Praying under the influence won't work.
