Yes I have, autism activist is well known here in Oz. I thought she looked familiar when there was a Landline article on how we are treating outr livestock and some insights into how best to improve
Her bio HERE
Sorry bennyboy but PETA ain't as saintly as we are lead to believe. Can't give you news articles, but they and our own Animals Australia are appearing more and more liken to cults and so are losing any credibility they had.
For the record...Omnivore. In answer to OP ...yes there are quite a number of Vegans/ Vegetarians on this forum.
I am familiar with temple grandin too. She has done excellent work in helping to alleviate suffering.
As for peta now you are behaving like a christian...no proof you just expect us to have 'faith' in your generalised and utterly unproven claims.
they are 'like a cult' so they make their members shun contact with the outside world, subject them to psychological tyranny? Forbid them from leaving the group? What exactly?

Its your opinion that its a pretty uninformed position to take. Animal experimentation is next to useless since testing on non humans gives very different results from testing on humans. If we had testing 150 years ago there would be no Chocolate or Aspirin (which poison dogs) on the other hand Thalidomide WAS extensively tested on animals but was still responsible for a generation of birth defects. Also ,personally, I value all sentient life and I don't consider that whatever humans need comes before the interests of animals.
