@Dotard- dishonest really.. and I haven't read the Bible... Just because you hate religion doesn't mean religion teaches hate. True it has historically has it's zealots and wars, but hatred breeds zealots. You can see the Bible as the good news of Jesus Christ or not. Don't think for a second that you can come close to telling me how to interpret my religions holy scriptures with your religious view and that they'd have any meaning whatsoever. Go write the pink unicorn holy writing so we'll all have a good read.
@Xyster-Did you even look at the original text for levitcus, I'm fearing you guys are just starting to put up walls to communication
Believe the Bible or don't, but don't judge other's interpretations of it, without the common decency of research, especially being atheists. You can mock people all you want without lies. If you choose to spread hate then enjoy the world you create.
After rereading perhaps that was alittle heated. I get it, you're not a believer so all you can do, if you've read it at all, is take it at face value, literally. But like the fundies you so love to mock you can be just as ignorant in your literal interpretation.

"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
