If you were responsible for foraging, growing and/or harvesting all your own food, your caloric needs could scarcely be met on a vegan/vegetarian diet. It's hard work, if you're doing it all on your own. How lucky and luxuriant we are, to live in a place where we don't even have to confront the reality of this need if we choose not to.I meant you wrote that post like you enjoyed slaughtering and watching the animals being slaughtered. Or rather, I read it that way. It amused me to read it like that.
People who have grown too far from their own food sources no longer understand this. But some of us were raised with farming in our background and prefer to do as our grandparents did. I guess they were all psychopaths, too.
