Just that I find atheists who like to create an imaginary Fundie opponent often weaken themselves intellectually....I have seen many atheists use it as an excuse to edge towards laziness when it comes to secular values.
I can attest with much experience that that "fundie" opponent lives and exists in some of the nicest people I know. I'm just careful not to tell them things like "I'm bi" or mention things like homosexuality or politics or global warming or the weather or anything that might signal the end of the world, around them.
My own father calls for the deaths of gays and flames on about how gay marriage will lead to people marrying their dogs. Christian acquaintances at the bowling alley will straight up tell me they're racist and they don't care. When asked why, they don't know and that's fine with them.
My friends dad likens homosexuals to pedophiles like it's goin out of style. Very nice people can still have these opinions, and it's usually the outspoken ones that end up online. Doesn't mean they don't exist, and I would say Rush Limbaughs' ratings and Romney's vote counts attest to that fact.

I'm American and I heard about Ted Cruz from Esquilax. He does know who Ted Cruz is, you dicksmack. I wouldn't be surprised if he'd purposefully forgotten such an ignorant bigot.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
