So what evidence do you have that god and satan exist?
I believe the writers of the new testament who walked with Jesus or who had close relationships with those who did. It's the testament of many of those who were slain because of their faith in him. I wouldn't do that if I was just perpetuating a fraud. Jesus also testified to the authenticity of the old testament. All those things you say couldn't have happened are possible if God is who I bellieve he is. Lastly, but most importantly, my life experiences have reinforced my beliefs. I believe there is more to the cosmos than what science can observe. That doesn't mean I reject science, I just don't think that's all there is to know.
well firstly, the bible was written hundreds of years after jesus's death, and the people who wrote it never saw jesus, never walked with jesus or had any interaction with him at all. so "walked with Jesus or who had close relationships" is not right according to what i know about the bible. Also, do you believe something to be true, based only if it is written down? with no physical evidence?
"All those things you say couldn't have happened are possible if God is who I bellieve he is." - How do you know it was god?
" I just don't think that's all there is to know." - yes! science doesnt have all the answers but, just because a book talks about something that no other book talks about, that doesnt make it true.

it isn't in our nature to think of a God, it is in our nature to seek answers and the concept of God is most influenced in this world.
