People are just unrelenting about making fun of people they perceive as fat (especially women) - how many times have you heard jokes about Kirstie Alley or Rosie O'Donnell? It's juvenile and strengthens the patriarchy. Personally, I've dated one overweight girl and one skinny girl. The one with a few extra pounds was very comfy to rest on. The skinny one had too many bones sticking out which friggin' hurt, and she seemed so fragile, like I would break her. I'll take the fluffy one every time.
