So a lot of women my age refer to each other affectionately as "bitch" and I'm not sure why but it rubs me the wrong way. Your thoughts?

Its highly improper for people to use such words when referring to eachother.
In my opinion its a sign of a lack of quality between the relation of the two people, male or female, does not matter. Whosoever wishes to adress to me, should do this with my proper name, or rank, for that matter.
