I've been with my girlfriend for almost 6 years, I'm very nice to her and she's definitely my best friend. Before we even started dating she thought I was pretty mean, which I kinda was, but she was also equally mean. Anyways, we had mutual friends and ended up at a lot of places together, when we actually started talking we pretty much found that our personalities clicked and could make each other laugh. I guess what I'm trying to say is,being nice is something that can done, or easily changed. Confidence and good personality are much more desirable traits, if you really like someone your gonna be nice, there's just certain traits that can't be as easily turned off or on.
