The statement "it exists" is part of a scientific method, because it requires verifying somethings existence through investigation. So idiots who say it exists but you can't scientifically test it or use any sort of scientific method is pretty inconsistent, how the f*ck else can we investigate its existence PLUS how do you know it exists if you can't test it nor even give proof for that matter?
