They kill because it is cheaper, and brings more money in their pockets!
There are shelters that kill, no kill shelters, and rescues. Most shelters kill because they can't afford all the animals and don't have room;but PETA does have the money, they just choose to waste it or put it in their pockets. No kill shelters and rescues rely on fosters and donation. They don't make a profit.
