For me, it was about trying to make sense of it all. Trying to understand how god had always existed, always would, was omnipotent, omni-present and omni every bloody thing. How can he be everywhere? How can he know what I am thinking? How can he allow such terrible things to happen to people, when he is supposed to be our loving father? Then I turned it on its head one day, and looked at it from the angle of the atheist. Then in a blinding revelation, I had an experience that filled me with wonder. I realised it was all a load of fucking bullshit. I have never looked back, and everything has made sense ever since.
