What you have there is an opinion which is based upon on your own opinion. See the posts I made above.

There's no reason why an altered brain states couldn't initiate a genuinely mystical experience of God, you can keep your mind open on this. Prayer and meditation may be milder ways of attaining such an altered state of consciousness/awareness of God. I'd suggest death counts as an altered brain state that would initiate a "mystical experience of God" which many people who have had NDEs report.
