Politicians act when most people want something so when for example the non smoker are more that smokers then they will change the law in favor of non smokers.
The politicians will also do something when the situation become unsustainable.
Unfortunately they often take the wrong decision so instead of preventing disasters like the unsustainable cost in the health sector and climate changes caused in part by the meat policy they privatize the health sector and then they throw taxpayers money down the drain when they help the livestock farmers when these guys can not feed the cattle anymore due to their own stupidity when they turn fertile land into a desert.
If it would be for the politicians we would end up in the gutter very soon.
Fortunately there are a lot of good people around and the consciousness all around create more awareness about what is good and what is not good.
Peace come only after a fight.
As i did fight about the tobacco smoking in the past and i won as the same time i will fight about any issue that prevent humanity to go ahead.
