Is Ford omniscient or omnipotent? Could Ford possibly know you were going to do that, or do anything to stop you once you decided to?
I can't believe I actually have to tell you this, but defending your god's behavior by suggesting that he is careless or stupid or neglectful or deliberately malicious doesn't actually help your argument.
I very honestly do not comprehend how you justify worshiping a god to whom you personally hold such low standards of competence.
