2 Billion people believe in Jesus
5 Billion people don't believe in Jesus.
But still, it's a fallacy to rely on numbers (or authority) for the truth.
No group has "the truth". Science has theories backed by evidence and observation, but even the most fundamental parts of science are subject to change when new evidence presents itself.
Lastly, why does it have to be a "group"? And why do you think it has to be only one group?
