Could you ever envisage dying for your child to prove to yourself that your child is worth saving because you are tempted to kill your child?

Well man CHOOSE to allow sin into the world when he ate from the tree, it was man's will, and God cannot allow imperfect souls to heaven because he said sinners must be punished and he cannot go back on his word. It's the only way he could do it without contradicting his word. He gives man the choice of heaven or hell, but died for us to show us his love.
