Cosmos with Neil De Grasse Tyson Premieres Tonight

I thought the presentation was phenomenal but a few times, especially when Tyson digressed about meeting Sagan and wanting to grow up the be the type of man he was, I felt myself hearing Christians shouting through their TV, "And they say their religion isn't Scientism!" Not that I think the statement has any validity to it, but those are the type of people I hope more special effects and presentation of facts can persuade-- along with less of Tyson's goofiness.

I didn't think he was being goofy at all. I don't understand why saying Sagan made a profound influence on him would in any way equal "religion".
