Christians think people need to be commanded to live a life of sacrifice and love, out of a rule book. I think most people are inherently good but have the capability of not doing good deeds.
But, Christianity thinks it has the market cornered when it comes to the idea of sacrifice and self denial. Meanwhile, well over half of Americans classify themselves as Christian yet there's so much poverty in the states?
Yes. Soooo much sacrifice and self denial going on there.
Meanwhile, Christian conservatives are staunchly against socialism. Lol You know. The concept of seeking what is good for the whole and not just the individual.
Jesus if you believe the story, was the quintessential Socialist.
Oh the irony.
