Why wait? Why not start now and be the instrument of change that you seem to be implying is so necessary.
You no doubt think yourself to be standing on the moral high ground when compared to me, so show me what is better than loving one's neighbor as one's self?
Show me how mockery and scorn will lead to world peace.
Show me how ridicule will vanquish hate and rid the world of evil and bitterness.
There is a huge difference between love and respect. Should we love everyone to the best of our ability? Surely, no doubt, only the sociopath would disagree. Should we respect people's silly beliefs? Not at all. Nonsense beliefs are not above reproach.
Love the theist; hate the belief.
