Are you cozy with Communism?

You'll be hard pressed to find many atheists that espouse communism on here. But it would help if you define communism.

That said, atheism and communism have nothing whatsoever to do with one another. One is in the sphere of the political, the other is the lack of belief in a deity or deities.

I guess the way to describe the communism I'm talking about is marxism,(Lenin, Joseph Stalin) Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba, etc.

Very few of those states operate a form of communism that would be recognizable to each other. Communism doesn't simply equate to 'Marxism'. Lenninism and Stalinism were vastly different to the philosophy envisioned in the CM by Marx and Engels. I'm also fairly sure that Marx would turn in his grave if he could see the misery that the Kim dynasty has caused to the people of Korea.

But no wukkas I personally am not a communist as I believe it to be too unrealistically utopian. Maybe one day man could live in harmony like that, but then it would be indistinguishable to any other form of politics.
