Not your species, but your group I think. Inside a same species witnessing killing for territory is common, even though close physical resemblance holds you back to a certain point from doing so.

Incorrect. I'm talking about the Group Mentality of wildlife (including ourselves). You see when Hyenas pick off a weaker one or one that may have been from a different pack, or just looks different. This behavior is reflected in Human Society. It is instinctual to pick off those that look or seem different than you, to keep that Normality of Genetic Exchange. Hitler had the best example of this, he wanted his specific race to further their genetic "superiority", killing off those he felt different and inferior. It is the same way in the wild, and in Human Behavior. But Rational thought should tame this down, whereas Religion promotes such violent, primitive, and instinctual behavior.

Religion doesn't always promote or justify such instinctual behavior, the golden rule is in the Bible for example. And as I said Jainism is based on non-violence and non-coercion, so your statement is not valid for every religion.

If you believe religion does not corrupt, then you should see the faces of the violent children of islam, the mullet-headed insanity of the children of God. Religion orders the religious to indoctrinate others into their way of thinking, their version of the group mentality, forsaking all others so that only their genetic "superiority" can make it through to the next generation. Logical, Modern Rationality does not support such heinous behavior as we have the caring of those whom can not care for themselves. The breeding of different races being acceptable, etc. You only see the ignorant (religious) and the hateful turning such modern revelations to the dirt.

You're making a false generalization of all religion. You have to separate fascist-like forms of religions and non coercive peaceful one. And this depends on the teachings of every religions and their different interpretations.

I can not dehumanize what was already dehumanized. People can change [their mind and adopt the particular truth which I think is obvious], and some can't. It is my own, personal opinion, that those which can not, should not be allowed to affect our world. I'd suggest shipping them off to another planet so they may be happy on their own, but it's really quite a complicated series of dialogues to delve deeper into this.
