It is a pic from a geostationary satellite, of the Pacific Ocean. It depicts a long cloud band stretching from Asia towards Antarctica. The caption that came across my FB-news feed was
"Equator being pulled South towards Antartica...... The equatorial flow is being dragged South, let's hope this changes soon, very soon.

I am not as educated as some on here about meteorology, so here goes...
There are known "weather patterns" that coincide with drought or rain here in Oz, the implications of this occurrence (the cloud band that usually settles around the equator) is something akin to the fluctuations of the Arctic jet stream that America experienced this winter.
