THat is a real possibility, and if I would have more freedom, fulfillment, and potential, and more diligently improve the world around me, as an adherer to that philosophy, than by all means, may it be done!
What is it about belief in God versus non-belief that you find so inspiring? The idea that the world was created specifically for your enjoyment? Or that you're a special creation above and beyond all other orders of being? I'm trying to understand the connection between your belief in God and the emotional fulfillment or security you draw from it. The idea that an all-powerful, all-knowing being cares for you? And if so, how does he (or she or it) care for you? In what way?
