The notion that religious people can get away with just about anything just because they believe in Jebus is absolutely absurd. It is something that honestly needs to change, because a nonsense belief in an invisible skydaddy does not give one a license to subvert the law. Of course, I really do not expect any real changes anytime soon, because the insane theists think they are special; veritable gifts to humanity from on High.
