The thing is: I am perfectly happy to debate with him if he'll either admit that he has "faith" and no evidence. Or he'll actually provide evidence.

Daystar, I'm afraid has no evidence, he is content to use the creationist tactics of picking holes and dismissing major scientific theories on the basis of "common sense" or personal incredulity.

If Daystar had any real evidence he would surely have provided it in response to some of the questions he is so carefully avoiding.

I ask, Daystar, do you actually know what the burden of proof is? Or are you just ignorant or refuse to admit you have no evidence on the matter and only have "faith".

Given that Daystar is an ex-police officer one might be tempted to think he'd know the difference between what is and is not evidence, but scientific evidence is somewhat more demanding than legal and my experience of the police and the legal system in general is that they are nowhere near as fair, or concerned about the truth, as people might like to believe. I strongly suspect that Daystar is of this mould and wouldn't know real scientific evidence if it was a wet kipper beating him repeatedly around the head.

As Jeremy Clarkson once said, "The Juries Are Scarier Than The Criminals" but in my opinion the police are scarier still and Daystar's twaddle on this forum does little to reassure me in this respect.
