Evolution is a fact but there isn't proof for some theories of evolution. In the OP and elsewhere I have stated that evolution is a fact.

Evolution is a fact and this is proof for all aspects of evolution. It's not even really clear what you mean here. If you're still talking about the common ancestor thing, I've already said that's an inference, but it's based on the fact that all of the observations and evidence we can collect points to it. There's absolutely no evidence for a designer or a god, so to put equal weight on that is simply incorrect.
