The tomb was empty.
That would be the tomb of Joseph of Aramathea (spelling? - looks almost right). No-one knows who he was. There was no Aramathea. All a bit suspect.
So the empty tomb might mean the dead body that was in it got up and walked out, or that the Nice Mr. Jo. A. was a necrophile and disappeared with the body and a large quantity of lube.
