The historical Jesus is a forgery of many gods before him. He is not the first to be born of a virgin, on dec 25, not the first to sacrifice himself for humans or rise from the dead. He simply follows the hero pattern, google "the hero pattern" and research the hero pattern gods you will realize very quickly Jesus is simply a retelling of older god stories. The only reason the Jesus story prevailed is because of the influence of the church on the Roman Empire and the violence the church used against "heretics"

I look at it very differently. Satan, who was cast down from heaven and an enemy of God, has been working hard to keep people from believing the one means for us to be saved, Christ. So he has orchestrated similar stories from pagan religions so when the real thing happened it could be discredited by such skeptics as yourself. Imitation is the greatest flattery. However, the real Savior did stand up.
