That's exactly what it is. In my experience, sodium metamizole 500mg achieved the best body temperature reduction (about 3x more than Aspirin or Ibuprofen) combined with white cell reduction, this seriously takes a huge weight off the shoulders. While normally it's ill-advised due to a risk of aggranulocitosis, I found no paper saying it is so in cases of abnormally high white cell count.
