Does insanity frighten or endear?
#15
RE: Does insanity frighten or endear?
In 1970 something I saw a shrink and told him I thought I was nuts*. His response "No,you are not crazy, and I can assure you, should that ever happen, you will be the LAST to know"--typically, the mentally unwell have no insight into their condition. We see this here often with the literalist apologists who stumble upon this forum.

*I've never been diagnosed as clinically insane, although I have an irritating collection of neuroses. IE they annoy others, not me.Angel Cloud
