If it had happened (or, when it WILL happen) do you honestly think the farmers will hand over their produce for free? And if they did, do you honestly think the distributors are going to use their trucks to drive this produce in the cities for free? And if they did, do you honestly think the gas stations are going to fuel up those trucks for free? And if they did, do you honestly think the store owners are going to give away the food for free?
All it will take is one global economic collapse and all 7 billion of us will run into the woods to kill and eat every living thing on land, in the air, and in the water. I'm gestimating it would take about to weeks to eat everything in sight. Then I'm inviting YOU over for dinner. I've never had Enrico on rice before. :-P
You remind me of something that was said years ago among friends.
At that time a particular bank look like it was going bust due to bad loans.
One naive guy said......oh that would be good so i don't have to pay back my debt with that bank.
An other guy look at him for few second and then said.........IDIOT.....don't you know that as soon as a business go broke a
receiver will take over and make sure that all the credit are collected?
That is how the system works and that is why all states and government have police and army so they can make sure that their system works for them.
In case of disaster as you point out many people will be shot well before they can knock down the system in place.
A revolution is quite possible and that system may collapse but at the end nobody really win so at this stage is pointless to speculate.

Considering your low level of consciousness i didn't expect that you come up with a better explanation of how the system works.
You first got to consider few points.
1) What it is the main driving force in humans?
It is to find limited or unlimited peace of mind and happiness or something else?
2) Can anybody be content with a limited degree of these things or not?
I never seen anybody who is content for ever with anything physical-material so my conclusion is that physical-material things can not give permanent happiness.
3) We may live longer due to physical science so we should be happy according to you.
Forget for a moment about maybe 80% of the total global population that
can not have access to this science so no matter what they will die early anyway and focus on the lucky 20% who can.
Are they more happy?
Some may be other will not be happy no matter what.
Peace of mind and happiness don't come easily.
It is like the money that you save.
If you save you will have if not you will be penniless.
You build up your happiness, nobody else can build it up for you nor physical science can
so the living longer has not really nothing to do with happiness.
Living without peace of mind and happiness is meaningless so if physical science can not add any bonus to my life why should i be happy about?
Again we are at square 0 where it is established that physical science is not able to improve our life that is why i tell you again not to confuse a
temporary bonus with a real and permanent addendum.
