I visited Turkey a few years ago (Istanbul, Kusadesi) and found it a charming place. Also couldn't help noticing that everyone we bumped into seemed to speak excellent English.
You do a much better job teaching languages over there than we do.
I agree with your observations friend. But it is a very difficult task to achieve.
English language is much different than Turkish due to its historic formation and root.
Yet, increased use of internet may help resolve this problem anyway.
