During my Christian days, I recall being taught that God is all merciful and therefore, no one knows who will be in heaven. I remember thinking that was a fair assessment. But, the Bible tells a different story, and so does the Qur'an, and so on.
I'm starting to think that this new Catholic Pope is not convinced of what he even is preaching, to be honest. He seems to be going against a lot of traditional doctrine, so who's lying? Earlier church fathers, or this Pope?
This is why I no longer believe any religion. If doctrines and dogmas can be contorted and changed so easily, then they weren't true to begin with.
