The collars weren't really all that hard. I walked into the leather store, told them what I wanted to do and walked out with a few tools and supplies. There was a little trial and error involved but within a week I was making serviceable collars. Having a sewing machine that worked (barely) on leather helped. I'd never dream of trying something like this though...

All three are adorable, and the collars you made look great - I've always wanted to try leather work, but for purses, and whenever I've tried it turns out crappy. I need to refine my technique...
