But god didn't write the bible and No church to my knowledge takes that position. Instead all you have is people that claim to speak to god telling that god that god told them this and they wrote it down. If you take their word at face value and back it up with circular reasoning you have no way to know if they are lying to you. Furthermore you may personal experiences based on what this text tells you, but you have no way of verifing either not these experiences are a result psychological conditioning or not while still using this circular reasoning, And the only external support you will find ultimately boils down to people in the same situation.
