Do you love humanity?

Do you love most humans on earth despite their false beliefs and flaws?

Within the context of the question, we of course don't love or even trust most human beings around us.
Undecided

However, when it comes to Humanity as a whole? Of course we should love ourselves.

Earth is the perfect planet for us to thrive in.
We are at the top of the food chain; we can multiply and thrive on a world where we don't have to be concerned about any particular predators.
We ourselves are our own predators, yet that too is very fortunate; since we know how our own brains and bodies work, we can easily protect ourselves from ourselves.

We breath comfortably underneath an atmosphere which shields us from meteorites.

We have everything we need here, water, minerals, lush forests with all kinds of food, and animals to keep us company.
We are incredibly fortunate to be here.

Despite all of our imperfections, we are still a fairly intelligent species.
Combining our intellect with the resources available to us, we construct impressive devices and equipment to further boost our societies.

Despite natural disasters wiping out thousands daily, and wars plaguing history, we as a species recover fairly quickly.

Our intense desire to improve the peace of this Earth drives us to do everything we can to uplift others and support our families in the direst of times.
Overall, we're not perfect, but our own imperfections are no good excuse to hate ourselves.

We as a species are positively minded. Even though we are aware of both natural disasters and man-made disasters happening all around us, we still bother to send ourselves and our children outside; we still endanger ourselves in the open air.

Our parents still bother to give birth to us and raise us, despite everything that is going on.

Why? Because our brains are wired to focus mainly on what we need to do in order to benefit ourselves. Our brains naturally focus on what needs to be done, not on all of the bad things happening throughout the world.

Outside influences can of course mess up our way of thinking, but whatever mindsets we may develop throughout our lives, we are born naturally positive.

I think I have loved animals, because I respect them more than humans, but even of that I am not quite certain.

I genuinely believe that those who claim to love of all humanity are full of shit, because how can one love a complete stranger that one has never met or even been intimate with on some level?
Yeah, animals are more predictable than humans.

Have you ever felt strange simply being alive?

Wink

It's possible to love others simply because they're human. Some personality types are very outgoing; they focus more on the positive, rather than the negative. These persons find it easy to love others in the basic sense of the term.

Even though you might not be friends with a stranger, you can still admire him/her in a way where you're genuinely fond of him/her.
