So they could just as easily shift the burden by starting a bit earlier in the process. For example: if you masturbate, you are potentially destroying a human life. If you use a condom, or pull out before you ejaculate, or perform anal or oral sex, you are preventing the conception of a human being who might live for 80+ years because you don't want to be inconvenienced for 18 years.
