Why do you think psychologist words count more? Why do you think they say that in the first place? They say it because that's the conclusion that the studies have shown.

Argument from authority until you can back up what you say.

Emmm if you say that you are open to take in consideration what studies say. Why do you get picky? Many studies claim that however I have the feeling that it's gonna take me a while to find a study that you won't object for.

You can have that feeling all you want. Show me a study, any study. I think my fellow members here will attest that I'm usually pretty intellectually honest. If you can prove your case then go for it. I'm still not convinced because, still, no one has linked me to anything to conclusively say most rapes are about power and control. I'm not denying it might be the case in many situations, but I personally don't think it's as cut and dry as that.

That one of the causes of rapists desires comes from the feeling of gaining power because they feel emasculated by a member of the opposite sex.

And if you don't believe us(because I have the feeling that your not gonna just accept what I said)that's up to you.However I'm not gonna start looking studies that you can search perfectly by yourself just because you don't believe me. I'm not your lackey.

That's fine, I could find many studies that are equally as compelling to suggest that rape is not about power and control. Bottom line is nothing is conclusive, and I'll continue to call out the bullshit of anyone who says so when they won't even be arsed to back up their fucking claims. That's not my job. If you say something I think the least you should do is provide better evidence for what you're saying than "most psychologists say this".
