its the risk/reward ratio you have to deal with.
In fact many atheists do exactly that. and that's why we have so many deathbed confessions. and conversions. its called covering your bases and your arses.
Convincing people to convert when they are in a vulnerable position does nothing for your case. If you're wrong, I've gained the time I'd otherwise have wasted, the money I otherwise would have spent, and the dignity I would otherwise not have.
