Most Christians in my experience when pressed for why they believe in god reference some sort of direct experience or revelation. But none of them have ever mentioned a very detailed message. So what I'd like to know is how that experience points to the bible.
Isn't that funny? It's always a "rational, logically sound" reason for their belief that "qualifies as evidence" but it's also a secret.
Usually when pressed, some sort of "Pearls before swine" quip is invoked as dismissal.
