I am not a religious man or a Christian, but I am often amused at how some Atheist seem to use science as a type of weapon against religion, not knowing that science was once a bedfellow with religion.
And great universities like Oxford were based on theological colleges.
It still is to some degree, but the output of its science research has eroded the superstition that once dominated humanities understanding of the universe.
So I don't see what point you're trying to make?
