Well, I live about 500 metres from a creek.Although I've seen kolas and kookuburras, I can't actually remember ever seeing a crocodile and the last time I saw a wild snake was in 1958..
Yes,we DO get some rather large sharks of our suburban beaches and they DO bite a leg off the odd surfer,mistaking it for a penguin. However,I ignore 'em. Last time I went swimming in the sea was in 1974.
