Not a made up word. An accurate description of an over dependence on empirical evidence. Exactly what esq said was the majority view of atheists and their reason to dismiss theism.

Over dependence? Please give us what you consider to be an acceptable level of empiricism. Something tells me it applies to everything but your particular brand of theism. I'm open to being wrong in my assumption though.
